July 2006: Las Vegas, Nevada: Design for Six Sigma
On June 28, 2006, an independent judging panel announced the winners
of Best Achievement of Design for Six Sigma, from a total of 65 entries, at the Global
Six Sigma Summit and Awards Dinner, the largest Six Sigma-related gathering of CEOs and
senior executives. The top two project winners were from Uniworld clients Cooper-Standard
and Cooper Tire. The award-winning entry showcased the use of Design for Six Sigma that
delivered a cost-effective water valve design for a major Japanese OEM while generating
increased sales for the company.

The project saved over $800,000 and generated over $2 million in new sales.
June 2006: New Delhi, India: Innovation Six Sigma
The "Frost & Sullivan Product Differentiation Award" was won by Jubilant
Organosys Ltd's Animal Nutrition Unit. The company used the principles of Innovation Six Sigma to
identify customer and consumer demands in order to develop differentiated and value-added product lines
in the feed industry. Jubilant Organosys is currently working on an impressive line of novel product
innovations that targets the user group at the very beginning of the value chain. The traits of the

September 2005: Six Sigma excellence Continues in Chemical Applications
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) sponsored the first ever National Six Sigma Convention.
Over 150 delegates from a broad range of industry sectors such as Manufacturing, Services, Telecom, Energy, ITES,
White goods, Automobile, and Engineering attended. Jubilant Organosys was second runner-up out of 21 teams for
Implementation of Six Sigma across multiple business units.

Practical approach with Chemical Applications area recognized
in India
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Convention
on Manufacturing Technology in New Delhi featured presentations
by the top Six Sigma Project teams from the manufacturing and service
sectors of the Indian business community. The premier award was
given to Jubilant Organosys for their excellent progress in implementing
and realizing the benefits of Six Sigma.
